Recycling of Waste Processing Facility (WPF) slag in an environmental-friendly manner is NRC’s core business. Wherever waste is burned, non-combustible residues are left, so-called WPF slag. WPF slag is a secondary material that occurs when waste is burned. By means of various mobile facilities, which apply induction techniques, NRC is able to remove iron (Fe) and non-ferrous metals (aluminium, copper, brass, zinc, lead, etc.) from this WPF slag. This process enables us to reuse three material flows from an end-of-life material (WPF slag), namely;

1. WPF fly ash. To be used in road construction as filling material and/or foundation material;
2. Fe/iron mix. Metal scrap shall be reused in the metal industry;
3. Non-ferrous metals mix. By means of separation of these metals non-ferrous metals can be reused in the worldwide non-ferrous market
